Azeez is a Senior Partner of Ascension Consulting Services. He has overall responsibility for the operational excellence of the firm in delivering services and solutions with passion to our clients. In addition to his global responsibility, Azeez has primary responsibility for developing the Global and Nigerian market.
Azeez has acquired proven practical experience over the years in providing sustainable business solutions to numerous clients in the oil and gas industry.
Azeez doubled as a partner and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of saffron Professional Services prior to leading Ascension.
Previously, he was a Partner in Ernst & Young for 2 years having worked at Deloitte for same period before then. He was in PricewaterhouseCoopers for over 11 years before joining Deloitte.
He was involved in carrying out a range of assignments including Structuring of contract agreements for maximisation of business opportunities, tax incentives, mergers & acquisition, diversifications and discontinuations, compliance and consulting services to companies.
Azeez is a Chartered Tax Practitioner, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN).
He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM).
He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) (Unique Distinction) in Accountancy from Kwara State Polytechnic and Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom. He was a member of the Research & Technical Committee of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, a member of the Finance & General Purpose Committee, Chairman of the Computer Sub-Committee of the Institute and formerly the Dean, Faculty of Oil, Gas and Solid Minerals Taxation of the Institute.

Ademola is the Managing Partner and Head of Finance and Business Tax Compliance in Ascension Consulting Services with responsibility for practice management and development.
Prior to joining Ascension, he was at Business Connexion as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with responsibilities for the Company’s financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting among others. He was also at Saffron Professional Service for about 3 years as a Manager with overall responsibility for the Firm’s Business Tax Compliance Services (BTC) involving Corporate and Petroleum Profit Tax among others and at Ernst & Young for 7 years where he started his professional career.
Ademola is a fellow of both Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), CertIFR(ACCA-UK). He holds B.Sc. in Economics, MBA (Finance) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is an alumnus of prestigious Lagos Business School and Strathmore Business School, Nairobi, Kenya. Ademola brings to bear his industry experience having previously worked with major multinationals on several projects managing and providing advisory on strategic tax issues. Ademola has attended various workshops, conferences and seminars at both local and International level on International Tax, providing sustainable business solution, Business Tax Management among others. Ademola is a paper presenter for relevant professional bodies including CITN, the recent of which is on ‘Managing tax risks in today’s business’.
Ademola is a proponent of tax compliance, recognition of taxpayers’ right and resolution of tax disputes on the point of law and facts.

Oluwasike is a Partner in our Firm. She holds a postgraduate degree in Commercial and Corporate Law from the University of London (LLM), a postgraduate diploma in Inter national Business Law and post graduate certificate in Tax Laws. She is a graduate of Law from University of llorin (LLB) and was called to The Nigerian Bar (BL). She is also a fellow of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
She has had a remarkable professional tax career spanning over 15 years with Deloitte and Ernst and Young (EY), providing expert tax services in the Financial services and Consumer Industry sectors. She joins Ascension after leaving EY as an Associate Director.
While at EY, She worked in the Global Compliance and Reporting unit of Tax services, where she supported clients (both local and multinational) on corporate tax compliance, advisory, tax audit & investigation, tax due diligence, tax planning and reporting. She also led the Growth(emerging) Market sector.
Oluwasike is a highly valued resource in the industry and will be adding refreshing ideas to our clients' tax matters as she drives our Consumer Industry, Financial Services, and Telecommunications sector focus.

Oludolapo is a Partner in our Firm. She holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Enugu State University of Science & Technology. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and Institute of Payroll Administrators.
She started her professional training with the erstwhile KPMG Peat Mar wick Ani Ogunde & Co. Prior to joining Ascension in 2018, she had worked in the Tax, Regulatory and People Services division of Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) for eight years and KPMG Professional Services for seven years where she headed the Payroll Outsourcing Units.
She has over two decades of experience and expertise in providing dynamic solutions on personal income tax assignments with specific em phasis on tax compliance, tax audit and investigation, tax advisory, tax planning, payroll outsourcing, tax health check, social security compliance and due diligence for clients in various businesses and sectors of the economy.
Oludolapo brings to bear her passionate and varied experience in dealing with people and employee-related issues that will enable our clients meet their statutory obligations while advising on optimal tax strategies.

Adeniyi is a Partner in Ascension. He is saddled with the responsibility of coordinating the operational activities with support from Directors and Managers.
Adeniyi has over the years acquired practical experience in assurance, tax and other related services in key sectors of the Nigerian economy. He was a manager in Business Tax Compliance with Ernst & Young prior to joining Ascension in 2012. Previously, he was at Crowe Dafinone for three (3) years and left as a Supervisor coordinating various clients’ engagements. Adeniyi started his professional career with Baker Tilly Nigeria and worked for five (5) years before joining Crowe Dafinone. He is a highly competent and reliable hand and brings a refreshing approach to his assignments on both multinational and national companies.
Adeniyi is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Lagos Business School (LBS), B.Sc. in Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University, U.K., Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Statistics (Planning Research and Statistics) from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science from The Polytechnic, Ibadan. He has attended numerous trainings and seminars.

ADESHINA BABATUNDE is a Partner in Ascension Consulting Services. He joined the firm as one of the founding Consultant staff in August 2012. He rose through the ranks and was promoted to Senior Manager in January 2020. Adeshina holds a degree in Accounting from Babcock University. He is an Associate Member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Taxation. He has in-depth professional tax experience across a wide range of companies, especially within the upstream and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Ascension, he started his career with Ernst & Young and also had professional trainings with Akintola Williams Deloitte and Saffron Professional Services His strong interpersonal skill enables him to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and regulatory authorities. Adeshina loves swimming and playing lawn tennis.
