FIRS e-filing Tax System
The Federal Inland Revenue Service is to commence the e-filing or Integrated Tax Administrative System (ITAS) on 2 March, 2015. The objective of the e-filing platform is presumably to simplify and ease the tax payment process in Nigeria as well as ensuring that the Service operates a transparent and efficient system. The e-project is broadly divided in two parts, namely, e-filing and e-payment.
