President Signs Companies and Allied Matters Bill 2020 into Law – Highlights and Major Changes
On 07 August 2020, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria signed the Companies and Allied Matters Bill 2020 into law. The new Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA or “the Act”) contains new, significant changes and provisions aimed at enhancing the ease of doing in Nigeria, including reduction of filing fees, and streamlining of the business registration process for small and medium-sized enterprises, etc.
